sink

WyckedWood

I decided that I had to have a sink in this tiny kitchen. Since commercially made ones were too wide and deep I set out to make my own, I used a plastic blister type packaging for the sink and covered it in paperclay. I used the waterproof tape Casey told us about to make the sink drain. The tiles I made from white polymer clay and handpainted with alpen rose, holly, pretzel and mushroom. The faucet and legs were spare parts from larger sinks. The skirt has a little bow detail on the front. Its a little rustic looking but it didn't cost me anything so that was great :)

This turned out very nicely. A great addition to the kitchen. I had to smile about using waterproof tape for the drain. :)

Thank you, lol, I didn't even think about that aspect of needing the drain to be waterproof :)It really is a good thing I used waterproof tape LOL

Lo-o-o-ove that faucet set. Where did you get those if you don't mind telling, or did you make it from jewelry bits?
