Laurel - back

rbytsdy

I used thin cardboard strips to trim that curvy roof line; I really like how it turned out so I think I'll use that one again. In the past I've painted or affixed a series of basswood strips, neither of which really worked well for me. I also used my trick of gluing robust trim pieces to the underside edge of each room floor, which really helps counter warping and bowing.

Your Laurel is adorable. I love all of the details you put into it.

Thank you! I had alot of fun with it, and definitely got out of my color comfort zone. :p Looking forward to seeing your Laurel build.

This is one of the nicest Laurels I have seen. I did one (my first) and it was too dark. Your color choices are fabulous!
