Kitchen Sink

JenniferKennedy

I made the sink with wood and used the same paint that I used on the stove (with the triple thick glaze) The drain is a little grommet, and the faucet is made with a piece of brass tubing and carved & painted wood pieces. 1inchminisbykris.blogspot.ca has an excellent faucet tutorial that I used as a guide.

My jaw has been on the floor since I've seen your stove! I am just in awe of what you can accomplish with wood - and it looks like metal/porcelain!!

I have to tell ya, I had to do the sink twice because I used a low grade wood, I found some wood slats at hobby lobby in a little baggie "Woodpile" 6 wood slats... these are GREAT for turning wood into metal or porcelain.
