Bespaq Unfinished

KathieB

Last summer I added this beautiful unfinished Bespaq piece to my collection. It will live in the foyer of the Beacon Hill. The finished version was red mahogany with a gloss finish. I see a lot of dark wood in my mental image of the house, so I've stained it with Minwax Provincial and will coat it with clear satin finish polyacrylic.

I wasn't sure the felt tip of the stain marker would get into the tiny details, but it worked just fine.

It is gorgeous! Ive never heard of a stain marker, I have heard of paint pens, I was going to use some type of marker to enhance the grooves in my 1/6 scale staircase posts
