Selkie 4,483 Posted May 13, 2015 Did you stain it after it was on the wall? I'd have ruined all the wallpaper and the floor. You must have a super steady hand. Quote Link to comment
weezah 72 Posted May 13, 2015 I stained the beadboard after it was glued on, but the mopboard and chair rail were stained before they were added. The photo that shows them on but still natural (bare) wood just has them sitting there with no glue. My hand isn't THAT steady! haha Quote Link to comment
Selkie 4,483 Posted May 13, 2015 Well, you still are way braver than I am. Of course I am old and have arthritis so I use that as my excuse. (snicker) Quote Link to comment
weezah 72 Posted May 13, 2015 When trying to be steady and paint I sometimes have a muscle twitch and it sends the brush off against a wall or something. So if I am working on a place that can't be fixed with more paint (like the wallpaper), I wouldn't even attempt to be steady! It is a sad irony that by the time we are old enough to have time to enjoy a hobby like this, our bodies are no longer entirely cooperative. Quote Link to comment
