I'm proud of how the stairs turned out. I trimmed each stair with thin little strips of stained basswood that I cut to fit.

I like how the stairs come up from the kitchen side and not the parlor side. Gives so much more room for things like the piano and maybe a Christmas tree for the holidays, etc.

ohmygoodness!  Those stairs are wonderful!  I have trouble fiddling with tiny pieces - can't imagine trying to cut and fit that stair trim!  But oh, how wonderful are your results.  :D
