conservatory progress

biomom

I wasn't sure what to do with this room behind the kitchen and then the light bulb went off in a big way! This will be my Victorian conservatory and herb garden for the kitchen. I have several plant kits to put together for here.

I found a great new wallpaper vendor on Etsy based in the U.K. - I have several really lovely wallpaper pieces for this project from them.

The ceiling is a really pretty ornate, embossed white paper.

Yes, I think they are originally for 1:12 scale but they fit the look I'm going for. Most of the Victorian conservatories that I have been looking at have lots of lattice type detail. Since this is interior to the house, I can't really do glass panes on multiple sides like traditional conservatory/greenhouse style but am trying to go for a similar effect.
