Persian Table Carpet

This is the Persian Table Carpet design by Lucy Iducovich, featured in Annelle Ferguson's book Traditional Needlework in Miniature. I stitched it over-one on 40-count linen for a finished size of about 7.25" x 5.75". It took me almost all year to stitch!

(It's a bit lumpy, needs to be ironed...)

Marvelous!!! :clap:  I've wanted to try a 40ct pattern, but silk gauze and I don't get along.  Nice to see it works so well on linen.

Your needlework is so beautiful, and this rug is beyond gorgeous! I used to do a lot of petit point back when my eyes were better, so I know how much work you put into this. It's amazing!
