Driveway lights

otterine

I made the base from two layers of builders foam so I could achieve the sunken living room.  To enclose the edges of the grounds, I added scrap wood to even out the surface.  I made a retaining wall to finish off the edge using egg carton stone on the side surfaces and resin pavers for the top edge.

Along what is technically the front wall, there's a patch of land.  I considered gravel, grass and mulch.  The mulch won!   I've planted a modest amount of Squeeze Me greenery from Model Builders Supply to fill in the space.  The hippo is a vintage carving.  I thought it made a wonderful garden statue.

There's a small driveway on the actual base, but I envision a larger one just off the main board.  I love the driveway lights.  They are LEDs from Evan Designs with covers and frames cut from recycled office materials.
