This photo shows the first part of the roof that just got roof shingles which look like a shake roof.  The kitchen bay with its faux metal railing is nearly finished.  It will soon have a pot or two behind the railing with some ivy hanging down and flowers.   The kitchen bay also will have more shingles to finish the sides next to the clapboard siding.
