the interior: before

havanaholly

I was totally shocked when I saw that NONE of the interior trim had been put on, or any attempt to finish off this sweet little house made beyond the truly horrible haphazard application of the little ceramic tiles. BTW, I rather like the little horrors, I think I must try to salvage & reuse them in this house (somewhere else & with some attempt at a design!) In addition to the obvious defective holding power of hot glue, the globs & strings are everywhere. On the "up" side, it popped right off. On the "down" side, it frequently took some of the top layer of plywood with it; spackle is a very close friend! Removing trim also left behind the trim's bottom layer of plywood; I was so thankful for my little Dremel electric sander!
