Ok maybe just 2 but I painted the cabinets AGAIN and this time settled on a dark navy blue. I really like this as it sets off the coolness of the tiles pretty well especially with the wood grain countertops. The wood countertops are thanks to coming across a pack of wood veneer sheets at Target on clearance for $4.50. This was actually my second go at doing the veneer. I actually had another version glued down and just didn't like it. It was quite a bit darker and with the country green it was just the wrong look for what I wanted which was country but modern. The navy blue got me there.

The navy really is perfect with the floor.  I love the richness of the counter tops against the coolness of the rest of the room.  Gotta love paint and perseverance!
