Lighting for half scale is significantly limited and I didn't want golden fixtures in my Fairfield. A few licks of matt black paint and they look like a whole new set of lights. Now to start drilling the many holes as I wait for them to dry ;-p

I hear you there. They look so much better painted black,  Good choice!

Preaching to the choir I know Debra! :-) I'm going to do a 1:12 scale house next - many more options!

Fiddly bit of painting there Scott and you're going to have immense fun wiring them all!

Once I thought I was done Mike I'm turn the light around for the 10th time and see the tiniest bit of gold still poking out! But yes - a lot of fun!

Gold is so 1980's LOL! Much better in black.

Ha ha ha yes ;-p so many wonderful things about the 80s - the fake gold lights (my parents had a few) not one of them!

Little lights hanging on a big light.. cute.. :D
Paint at a minimum is a must for all these ugly brass fixtures.. you would think a mini manufacturer would figure out we don't want brass anymore. ...

Sorry Sam - I missed this back in April. Yes - I hate brass - with a passion!
