Chanticleer Side-by-Side 2

Dalesq

I've been building furniture to furnish the Chanticleer. I'm using an assortment of kits, artisan pieces, and pieces I've made from scratch. This side-by-side is from a vintage kit by Cassidy Creations. I've modified it somewhat. The desk, drawer, and doors are all working parts. Now that the assembly is complete I need to do the finishing. I started by sanding, staining, and sanding all pieces before assembly. It needs more touch up and varnish.

Very nice! Are these 1/2 scale kits? I've never heard of them.

Yes they are half scale. I find most of my Cassidy Creations kits on eBay or at local mini shows and buy them if they are a good price. They are somewhat difficult to find and can be a little pricey, but they are highly detailed. I've bought some of my kits from Scale Designs...they carry many, but not all, of the CC kits. http://half-scale-miniatures.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=30&zenid=5d4b3865830d1585e6fba9606c7302fb
