Hinges for medallion door

I was originally going to get strap hinges for the medallion door but I couldn't resist the look of these. The main hinge part looks a lot like a Hand of Fatima which is a common good luck charm throughout the Middle East and North Africa. These will get painted black to match the handles. I also ordered a boat load of tiny nails to add to the door to make it look even more authentic. These hinges were $10 for 6 which I thought was a pretty good deal. I can use the spares in other places around the house.

The design is perfect. I'd put a dot of super glue under the hardware to back up the nails, which may work loose over time. I'd even dip the tip of the nail into a little puddle of super glue gel.
