Beginner iris tutorial

WyckedWood

Photo #6

Here the petals are shaped with the ball stylus by going over them in a circular motion. Careful not to tear the paper, use a light touch. The wire is cut and sticking in the foam. A piece of masking tape holds a dollap of fresh tacky glue. Alene's tacky glue...and if it's been sitting there for a few minutes it probably won't work..you want it fresh from the bottle.

Ps...ignore the wires with the beads on their tips, that's for a different flower. The Iris does not use a bead.
