Find the Fail

But I forgot to paint it a single color before gluing on the vinyl. Perhaps you can see the bottom corner that was spackled, sticking out obviously under the vinyl. I did not realize that the vinyl would become a bit translucent once glued. I had to try really hard to hide the white rectangle when trying to take pics. When looking at it it was completely obvious to see.

One small oversight had ruined it. There would be no way to peel off the vinyl. The wood glue gripped exceedingly well. Might as well have been super glue. I also didn't like that the darker plywood backing made the red darker than it should be,

Had a rather upset discussion with Hubby trying to figure out what would stick to vinyl to try and salvage it. Best I could think of was spray paint meant for plastic furniture as the last chance to salvage my massive mistake.
