You cant really completely delete the upper storey floor on this cottage because it shapes part of the windows, but I didn't want that floor so I cut away most of it and left a sort of shelf remaining. I cut basswood floor boards and covered the "shelf" surface and underneath surface and the front facing interior roof and the interior back roof.
