Fusion plastic spray is what I do first to prime it, and then it takes just about any paint. I used Target brand craft acrylic for this. I have also used ceramcoat on these.

Great makeover.  The addition of card stock panels is such a great idea.  I mean I don’t know if this is how you did it, but the panels could be painted prior to attaching which would certainly be easier to paint.

Thanks and yup - pre-printed cardstock is the method for these makeovers. Makes life easier in 1:48!

I love how this turned out . Thanks for sharing how you do it . Though I'm just not sure about doing a 1:48 on my own . I have one kit to do but it's still sitting .
