The structure is glued together, except for the rafters.

Yesterday I scored and stained the floors for a plank floor look. Then I cut some stencils with my Cricut, and stenciled patterns onto the floors. Since I want a somewhat shabby look, I wasn’t super precise with the stencils. After they were dry I sealed the floors with  Tripple Thick, and then lightly sanded. I’m happy with the result and think it adds a fun touch to the house.

I stained and assembled the staircase, adding a panel of the wallpaper and additional trim pieces of give it a little more dimension. I cut pieces to close the back, but may not add them and may leave it open...I haven’t decided yet. :)

You should be happy with it...cuz its awesome!  Works really well with everything else.  See I would never think to do something like that.
