Hermitage, more furniture and lights
The bed and table kits are from MiniEtchers. I modified the bed because the kit doesn’t come with slats, a base, or a matress. It has no footboard, which is perfect for the space in the house, but it makes the kit a challenge to make, so I put a small rail across the end which is hidden under the fabric.
I modified the table. It’s very cute without my changes, but I covered the sides and the faux two drawer front, creating a faux single drawer that I covered with paper. I used a holeless bead for the knob. The oil lamp is an LED pico light inside a spare Chrysolite part for the base, a bead under the base, and a bead for the globe. The chimney is a piece of a capillary tube (thanks to my husband who showed me how to cut them ). The lamp wire extends through the top of the table and the lamp is permanently glued into position.
I usually paint the wires with a complimentary color a few inches from the lamps when I’m ready to install them so that the wire looks like a cord.
