Four poster Bed

SewMini

I love this little bed even though I changed the top. The original directions call for you to glue a piece of lace as an overlay on top of the yellow fabric but I really REALLY hate flat lace so I only put it on the underside. You can see it peeking out on the part of the comforter that is turned down. If you ever do this kit, I would highly recommend gluing the flat pieces of the bed (i.e. the headboard, footboard, and covered "matress") together and THEN gluing the posters on. The instructions have you glue the posters to the bed first but I discovered that doing this prevented the matress part from sitting flush to the headboard and footboard. I ended up pulling off the posters, gluing the flat pieces together and then gluing the posters on. I just had to make sure the matress part hit the headboard and footboard the same distance from the floor.
