Hermitage roof shingles

Before applying the shingle strips, I cut wavy edges to them. I wanted a subtle organic feel because of the house.

After applying all the shingles, I added a wavy roof cap. Then I used chalk pastels to age the shingles. I’m planning to add moss last. I used a heavy cardstock for the roof templates under the shingles and the shingle strips.
