Windsor chair next to a matchbox.  I used a jeweler's draw plate to get my dowels small enough to work in half scale.  They did not take stain well, so I used India ink pens to try to color them to match my mahogany stain.  From my half-scale recreation of the library at Teddy Roosevelt’s summer home, Sagamore Hill.  You can see a 360-degree view of the library when you click through the images here (about 6 clicks in):  https://artsandculture.google.com/exhibit/nQLiVHOCgDXMJA To read more about the process, please visit my blog at https://thehalfscaleofit.blogspot.com..

That is so gosh darn small but the detail looks great.  Everything is nice and symetrical too, which isn’t always the easiest thing to do when making a chair...I know.  Really well done.

I know you know.  :)  Appreciate the positive feedback.  This and the table with the barley-stick legs are probably two of my favorite pieces, so far.
