“Quite well”...that’s an understatement!  I think it turned out fantastic.  I will have to try the staining technique you used, the table has an aged look that works really well.

When I had a really close look at the table I realised it wasn't one piece of wood but three together which is why I then scored lines into the surface.  I also used the black chalk straight onto the table top to rough it up even more.
