Making the front door: 1

havanaholly

I used the interior frame I made for the front door to get the measurements and then discovered the frame was too short (overadjusted for the two different floor levels inside & out) so made adjustments to bothe the frame & the door measurements and cut the basic door carcase from 1/8" thick basswood. I had some stripwood I used for the sides of the door and craftsticks for the top & bottom. I mitered everything and began to glue on the trims.
