The kind of house I am using for inspiration, across from the bus stop I use in the morning. It's near the edge of my neighborhood. Houses here all tend to be brick, late Vicotorian, early 20th century and were once quite grand. Due to "urban revitalization" property values dropped, the houses were sectioned off into apartments, and within the last decade or so there is a resrugance of popularity with college kids/ grad students/ young proffesionals and hipster types. I moved to this neighborhood when I was a student and love the sullen grace and dusty charm of these old brick beauties.
