Got one side of the mansard done,its labor intensive but I love the look,Im doing two rows square,two rows spades,two rows fishscale. I like making the spades (or diamonds)they remind me of my favorite pointy toed shoes:)

Are you doing the roof shingles in paper clay, EDITED (Oh deeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr . I just re-read your description lol) they look fabulous, what colour are you going to paint them, I am working on two Beacon Hills atm, so I love to see what others are doing with thiers.
