Wall tapestry

otterine

I stitched a wall tapestry for the conservatory. The pattern called Orange Tree is from Exquisite Miniatures in Cross Stitch and Other Counted Thread Techniques by Brenda Keyes. This book is not specifically for dollhouses but has smaller real life size projects that can be used in miniature settings both with and without minor modifications.

Thanks, everyone! I didn't keep track of my time for this project, but it didn't take all that long since the background is the mushroom colored fabric not stitched. I would say 8-10 hours work time, maybe?

I am just so impressed with your attention to detail! How much time during the day to you spend working on minis? I try to do a little something each day. Just love your work! You make me want to be a better miniaturist!
