MiniCrazy 250 Posted July 10, 2011 Hi Smallscale After cutting the center out of the door, I used 1/8" square dowel rod to make 2 frames to fit the opening. I printed the design on transparency film and sandwiched that between the frames. Quote Link to comment

chellebelle 122 Posted August 17, 2011 Excellent! I've been experimenting with this idea for my Tia Bella's front door, but am having trouble finding a insert design that I like. Did you color it, or was it already done? Quote Link to comment
MiniCrazy 250 Posted August 17, 2011 chellebelle, It was done like this, I just printed it. I found it on a free pattern site but I can't remember which one. Quote Link to comment
Lily_Isle 14 Posted August 23, 2011 This is a gorgeous design! Did you use a special transparency film? It looks like you got the frosted/wavy effect on the clear glass which is something I haven't seen before on the transparency windows! How did ya do that? Love the colors in this! MiniCrazy 250 Posted August 23, 2011 Thank you Lily_Isle No I just used simple ink jet transparency. The frosted look is in the design. If you look further in my gallery I have the deign that I printed from and you can see where the frosted look comes from. I think that is what drew me to this design. Quote Link to comment
