Fairfield bed

This is a Heywood-Wakefield bed that I built from an SDK Miniatures kit. The comforter is made from another upholstery fabric sample and the only way to make it sit nicely was to glue it to the mattress (a piece of balsa). The mattress is separate from the bed, though, so I can swap the bedding later on if I want to.

The purple blanket and pillows are made from an old scarf I've had for ages... I wore it as a shawl to my junior prom! I also glued down the blanket, but the pillows are loose.
