Brookwood siding

We found this weird MDF/cardboard siding, several "slats" in one long sheet, it makes for quick siding jobs but doesn't hold the paint very well, I think it's going to take about 3 coats to look decent. The stonework will continue over to the side wall on the front of the house and then around the base of the sun room.
