Patrick Darling:
Like his father, Patrick is a firefighter in the town where he was raised. He always knew that was what he would do. When he set his sights on Claire, a bright young woman who went away for college, as his partner for life, Patrick realized he needed to offer Claire, now a college girl more than her old hometown boyfriend who had no sense of world might.
