Second floor hallway

The first and second floor hallways have split steps. There is a landing half way up. The steps with the kit were too plain so I added the wood top, spindles and railing. The banister that is visible is the top of the stairs coming up from the top half of the first floor.

Nice! Did the kit come with this configuration for the steps, or did you bash them?

The kit came with this configuration. Thank you both! I am pretty pleased with the look.
