Jo Med 1,017 Posted March 31, 2013 Ditto. Are the windows real glass because they look sparkly and clear. Quote Link to comment
MissMac 25 Posted March 31, 2013 Apparently they're some substance that you dip the frame into and it dries to give the twinkly glass effect. They can break, so I'm being VERY careful with them. Quote Link to comment
gamma 138 Posted March 31, 2013 mmmmm a broken glass in any case would add character to your house but better to keep as it is... ;-) Quote Link to comment

Is it possible to find out more about this technique? Is it a product that's on the market? The windows really look authentic. Quote Link to comment
MissMac 25 Posted April 1, 2013 I have no idea. I can try and find out. I know it comes in some sort of tin and goes 'off' very quickly, so needs throwing out regularly. It is very, very effective, whatever it is. Quote Link to comment
