Redesigning the upstairs banisters.. Will use the posts the bottom rail are new will drill for new spindles and several will go into holes part way through the floor + glue. The posts will be pinned to the floor + Glue - Will make new upper rails which will also be drilled - and the ends pinned into the posts.. This way it might hold up a little better to a 3 1/2 Yr old LOL..
