Steampunk House Kitchen Top Monitor Fridge Open

Lady-K

This is a close-up of the top monitor fridge, Open, in the Kitchen.

Even Steampunks need a place to store their food, but a modern day fridge just didn't cut it. After a few suggestions from my blog followers, I decided to go with an old school top monitor fridge (they run on propane instead of electricity-and you can buy refurbished ones from some antique dealers).

This miniature was made out of bass wood, polymer/paperclay, cardboard, muslin, aluminum wire, acrylic paint, and Polycrylic.

Read about the whole project and see more photos on my blog; http://kyle-lefort.blogspot.com/2013/05/undersized-urbanite-entry-steampunk.html
