Little House in the Big Woods Cabin (half scale)

The chimney is made with rocks that came with the kit. If I had it to do over, I might have used egg carton stone instead. This doesn't look super realistic to me. I used skinny sticks instead of logs at the top after seeing a photo of a replica cabin in Pepin, Wisconsin that's done this way. Since the logs are only half round, I glued tiny log pieces to the backs of the sticking out parts, to look more realistic.

Oh,I think you're wrong about the chimney-these rocks look great!The whole cabin,inside and out is wonderful!

I like how the chimney looks, it looks very much like the chimney in my cousins place in Minnesota that is made from native stone.
