18 Wood boards hide Gap On The outside

abloom

I used plain wood as trim to cover the gap on the outside of the gable front, which will look better with a little peeling paint. (I also reattached the pieces I had cut from the bottom of the gable roof; they'll be covered by some kind of roofing material and the cuts will never be seen.)

Thanks! For some reason, I really enjoy making this distressed and decayed look. Part of it is the freedom of knowing you can't really mess it up, because it's supposed to look that way. But even more than that, I love buildings that are old enough for Nature to have had a hand in their appearance.
