I think that with the yellow wallpaper that a darker floor will look nice. I love the floor itself, though. The paper is great, too!

I love this wallpaper and the wood floor too! If you want the floor darker then try doing another darker wash over the existing floor. Use lots of water and a darker paint color and it will look like a wood stain and used floorboards! I bet it will be lovely when you are finished!!!!!

That looks beautiful. I don't see it looking dirty in the photo. I like it.

Thanks you guys. I had gone ahead and started painting it over with white again before I got these wonderful compliments. Oh well.....I need to leave it alone now or I will go nuts lol
