I don't usually put dolls in my dollhouses, but the Little House cabin seemed awfully empty without the Ingalls family. So I went in search of dolls, which was tricky since I needed them to look a very specific way, and pickings are slim in half scale. I ended up on Etsy where I found patterns for 1:12 dolls and pioneer clothing at Prarie Crocus Studio. I'm not much of a sewer, so I contacted the shop owner to request a custom order.

Here's a picture she sent me of the dolls in progress. Whatever happened to modesty...?
