Wallpapered pieces

Deb

So this is how a Tennyson looks when the walls are wallpapered and stacked up in piles. :-)  They really are pretty even before they get assembled into a house and believe it or not, all the borders will match up almost perfectly thanks to the guidelines I drew while the house was in dry fit.   The three bay pieces are pictured at the top and you can see where I've started adding the window frames to them.  I do the interior frames while I can still lay the walls flat on the work table which makes it much, much easier to get them all straight and tidy.  I'll cut and paint the pieces for the exterior frames, then tape them into place so I can pencil around them on the walls.  That gives me guidelines for applying the stucco without getting it under the frames, ensuring a smooth fit.  The window panes and exterior frames are done after the stucco is completed because I'm a bit messy when it comes to splashing that stuff around and I'd rather not try to remove it from the windows.  :-)  For now, the exterior frames will go into labeled envelopes to keep them safe.  I'll try to get some close up pictures of the frames later on today.
