Does anyone know where I can get a farmhouse bed. Please NOT costly. The Orchid I'll be decorating for my nearly blind friend? She is calling the shots on the decor and furniture. She wants one very badly as her Grandmother had one and it's a memory to her. but, the ones I've checked online are too expensive. Except to build one and NO on that idea. Thanks. It's 23 degrees at 8:30 a.m. Wind chill at 12 degrees, even though it feels colder. We have been fairly lucky, the power has gone out some, but not all the time. Thank goodness, so I can use my electric blanket. I'm having to sleep in a recliner, volunteered to do so because of shortage of beds. However.........I sure would love to have my bed back. I'm looking forward to that. It's an adjustable bed and it's good for me because a stupid doctor made a mistake on a simple vein surgery on my leg. I have to put my leg up high to stop the pain. I use medical magnets. I am in hopes of surgery that is not evasive and won't do anymore damage as this did. I've put up with this for 20 years now. Since Dec 1992. This other Dr was supposed to pull up the vein and instead he cut 6" out and cut a nerve on top of my ankle. Yes, I have feeling, but that nerve hurts and the magnets do their job by preventing the blood from staying in my foot and ankle, not going up and down. Believe you me, that hurts. I've learned to deal with it, but it is worsening at times. The electric blanket? It keeps my leg warm and the nerve warm so I can sleep at night, otherwise, I'm up all night and hurting. YUCK! Don't wish this on a soul. Stay warm all of you.

Will have to do that in April. Only camera I have now is my smartphone, but I'll get it going and take pictures of my flowers. Thanks.

I bought a lot of little pierced earrings over the last few days and I'm fixing them for my garden. I bought flowers. I've done this before and it's so easy. Use florist green tape and start just under the flower to cover the metal from the earring and wrap it around, adding a thin wire and wrap all of that and make it as long or short as you like. Flowers for my garden. I was lucky, I found a little shop and they just got in a lot of flower earrings because it's Spring. Just thought I'd pass on my flower idea. I'm going to do that with tiny ivy I have and greenery.

Oh, I understand. My friend; however, agrees with you about a fence. She is one who did plastic canvas. She suggested to use YOUR idea Holly and put the fence in the back yard, not all the way around. For pets, children. I bought 3 doggies in miniature in St Joseph, MO. They will use the fence. HUH? Sure! You also know that I am VERY new to all of this and I guess I feel at times, I'm going around the merry-go-round and I'm wondering if I can do it, if it will turn out as I see it in my mind, is this going to be an expensive hobby, can I decorate this as I believe I can. The items I want at times, seem to be quite expensive so that is why on my trip I've been looking around. I don't want to pay over $100 for a tiny bed for a bedrm. The house would be expensive by the time I was done. I don't want to build my own, but the expense of these are to high. I just am having to put 2 and 2 together and know what I want and how. I do THANK you for the advice and how to's. I haven't got the house yet and the closer it is for me to get it, it's overwhelming at times. My son said he wanted to do the painting. How good does that get? The building, I don't have to do that. On the SF, yes the tower rooms have access through the house rooms, there is space back there and not much of it, but I am also wondering. When I get that home, does it have windows/ so far it does not. Can I do it, where do I get them. Etc. It's just the first time and I have already committed myself to two other homes. I don't do as much as you on the homes, have NO talent for building and your tin roofs? Amazingly real. "Action are the seeds of Faith, Deeds grow into Destiny." A quote from Harry Truman. He is right as rain. I'm stranded in Missouri due to the large amounts of snow and no traveling for me right now, so I have the time to ponder my thoughts. I'm working on my tiny plants and flowers right now. I want lots of Holly Hocks, sunflowers, in Miniature, as I have in real life. My home has lots and lots of green plants in it, so will the SF. Yes, the seed you planted with me about a lot of things ring in my soul Holly. You have been there and done that and I DO appreciate it. You said to listen to your house and then decide about what it wants. It's my soul talking to me and my creativity will shine, but it will take lots of time. I pick up my house on April 3. Just wish me LUCK. I'll need it.

No fencing please. Just getting marvelous ideas from the hotel itself. Since my son and I have 10 green thumbs, I'm always planting something. Particularly David Austin Roses. I don't have such a huge space now but I use those huge pots and I can grown anything. Mexican heather, Roses, (I had a Betty Boop rose once. Yellow with red polka dots, like her dress was.) Long before my time, but history is always good to know. Petunias, Sweet William, Lantanas, Gerbera Daisies, Daisies, Carnations, etc. My son loves to grow herbs: Lemon Grass, Lemon Basil, Chocolate Mint, Thyme, Rosemary, Iris and Bearded Iris, I have some daffodils blooming for a week now and many more. So..........I stayed in a B&B in Illinois a couple of times. This lady had a curved driveway and flowers were on every curve, The back yard was full and the front, side and any place else. I love working in the yard, in the soil and planting and taking care of my flowers, giving God HIS time. Thanks anyway Holly,it's very nice, but no fence for me. I just don't care for fencing to much if I can have my garden of flowers out. A friend of mine in Missouri, the one I'm decorating the Orchid for, did a dollhouse and all the furnishings in plastic canvas. It's beautiful. She did a fence such as what you showed me. It was very nice. Sue

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. LOL I couldn't reproduce that fence in a million years. It's pretty, but I was just looking at the hotel. Well, correction from me, I may do a box after all, but I want to put maybe a fancy kitchen in it for the guests, who knows? Time will tell that too. Would you like to do the fence for me????

How many non-miniaturists make this mistake you think?
