Interests
I absolutely love building and decorating dollhouses, and I really enjoy wallpapering my dollhouses. I also enjoy my family, my job, planting flowers, , etc. I am an avid reader as well. I also enjoy re-doing "real" houses, including wallpapering, painting, and just basic refurbishing.

Mow the @&$&@ grass. It grows like nothing I’ve seen

I do something similar to Holly except I use aleenes tacky glue (also dries clear) to glue the pane to the window frame and clamp it until dry. I also use tacky glue to glue the window to the house but instead of taping it I will use a tiny dot of super glue (gel) on the corners of the windows because the super glue will grab and hold until the other glue dries.

Not sure if this will work but I’ll try… https://www.facebook.com/share/u3jK5gUJoSAgFzsY/? This album should be public so you can see it. Also, I do the same with houses with turrets etc-I just use a can of paint and/or pieces of wood to level the house so it remains still

Good luck and welcome to the forum!

Remember, you can flip the house around to get to things better. I frequently flip the house from side to side and upside down for painting and wallpapering purposes

Welcome to the forum! I look forward to seeing pix!

Help! I'm not sure how to identify this house (first house)
LPCullen replied to Maddison's topic in Everyone Else
It does resemble a Foxhall Manor, but portions of it don’t look like it was a kit. -
That was my thought too!

I was never very successful at making those hinges work either. I gave up and my doors do not open

This kit was the very first dollhouse that Jimmy and I built! I also think it’s easier to do the inside first.
