well, after spending much time looking at pictures of porch designs, i settled on this look. it's elegant in a simple kind of way, nit to over the top. took a while to turn the round pieces on the lathe, and cut the rest of the pieces for each post. the small wooden rings at the top and bottom of the round posts were challenging. each post consists of 11 separate pieces. glad thats done, took me all afternoon!!!

decided on the lower level working my way down the tower paint on the outside and started a room :) siding...done!! plaster...done!!! chimney...on!!!! huge house, 1/3 of the tower sided some siding on the full scale with dental siding started :) the tower done :) started to glue :) My Blog Links
