I picked up a paper dollhouse book called My Dream Dollhouse at Borders last week for $3. It's so cute and reminded me that I had several other paper dollhouses. I thought you all might appreciate them. I worked at a bookstore about 12 years ago and bought them back then: Van Gogh's House, Monet's House at Giverny, and Botticelli's Bed and Breakfast.

Check my gallery for more pictures. They are so neat!

Those are so cool! I used to love those things, I had an old one in a hardbound book. I don't know what happened to it.

Woah!! Those are so neat!!! Are they in a book, or do you build them? My dad gave me a couple of paper model dollhouses to build. They are still in the packages, and I left them at their house. adhd is not so great sometimes. LOL

Don't you wish sometimes that you could step back into your childhood and pick up some of those treasured toys? We moved around a lot when I was a child and my treasures kept disappearing. Looking at these pictures is ringing some bells in the back of my brain; I think I once had something similar also. I know I had a little tin dollhouse that I played with a lot -- until the next move! unsure.gif
I remember playing with paper dolls quite a bit -- I guess they were easy enough to pack up so I didn't lose them all!

These all fold up like a book, no building required. I do get nostalgic for the toys I used to play with when I was young. My sister and I are always saying "I wish we could play (insert 70's or 80's game/toy here)."

YES! Claudia! I had a metal dollhouse with the tacky 50's furniture, I had a larger scale set of doll furniture that was made of maple I believe and lots of paper dolls I collected. Who knew I would want them as an adult?

Barbies replaced paperdolls for little girls. I would rather have the paperdolls; I had LOTS!
