Hi Nikki! Welcome to the forum! There are no foolish questions, that's what we're here for! :)

Scale is a matter of ratios.
1" = 1' is the same as 1:12 or 1/12in. Some also call this full scale (which actually is misleading)
1" = 2' is 1:24 or 1/24in. Some also call this half scale.
1" = 4' is 1:48 or 1/48in. Some call this quarter scale.
1/144 is 1/12 scale for a 1/12 scale house, so a dollhouse for your dollhouse!

What house are you building?
Have fun!

Nikki, ratios are fractions, if that's any help; the larger the number to the right of the colon (or divisor line), the smaller the scale.

I have also built the Travel Trailer and I rebuilt a Laurel that was originally built with hot glue and had fallen apart. I have also built another kit or two. You just go right ahead and ask all the questions you want/ need to.

Hello and welcome! I'm new too and asking questions and getting inspired!!
I am really enjoying redoing my dollhouse which has never been given the proper attention is deserved. Rescued from a garage sale some ten years ago and stored away in the attice just about as long hopefully I can do her justice.
