About Me

Hello Friends! I'm Sheila from the Tampa Bay area, and I'm mostly a music teacher so I may end up building my dream music school in miniature. I bought my first dollhouse 12-23-09, so I'm fairly new to this hobby. The galleries on this forum are inspirational !

Update:  Since 12-23-09 I've made several houses:  Victorian House, three Tudors, Lafayette, Cambridge, and Alexandria.   I entered five houses in the 2011 Florida State Fair arts and crafts show and won Best in Show, Four First Places and an Honorable Mention.

Update:  Entered more houses in the 2012 FL State Fair and took a Best in Show, and several First Places.  Entered houses were PA Dutch (DC Alpine), Inn of the 13 Colonies (DC Manchester), Heronim San Franciscan (DC San Franciscan), Holly Hobbie House and Cabinet (DC Victorian Mansion), Russian Dacha (DC Heritage).

This year (2012), I have built the DC Shenandoah, DC Pioneer, DC Brookfield, DC Colonial and DC Linfield and I'm prepping them for the 2013 fair.
